I LIKE TOYS...

::: Not ALL toys. I'm not a big fan of the older style G.I. Joes, and I'll be honest, Barbies just flat don't do ANYTHING for me. I'll admit, Bob Mackie makes some right fine duds for that pointy-breasted broad, but I'll take a REAL woman packing heat any day over a BARBIE.

::: If you hate me for liking toys with attitude, I'm sorry. Maybe you can find some written pap more to your liking, but I'm looking around at my walls and they are festooned with some of the most vivacious, beautiful and dangerous women, men and creatures that the evil minds of toy companies can think up.

::: I like Hot Wheels, Star Wars action figures, and even - yes I will admit it - some Beanie Babies. But what got me started collecting ANYTHING was Tomb Raider goodies. The first TR item I purchased online was a watch given by Eidos to their employees. When I got it, I kept picking it up and looking at it, smiling to myself, but I would never WEAR it. So I put it in a drawer and didn't think about "collecting" again for a long time.

::: Then, about a year ago, I again entered "Tomb Raider" into a search on eBay. The quantity and quality of cool stuff that came up on my screen made my heart race and my butt-pucker. Could I afford this stuff? What would Eric (my Significant Other) think when this stuff started rolling in?

::: For those of you who haven't experienced it, eBay is an addictive menace. Yes, I believe that. Sex, Drugs and eBay. I have since bought (and sold) things that I never needed, would never use and possibly didn't even want, all because of the siren call of eBay.

::: So, now I have tons of cool stuff. Some of it is hanging on my walls, arrayed artistically or in some fen shui fashion across my desk or stuffed safely into Rubbermaid containers and tough cardboard boxes carefully labeled. And all of it will show up here eventually! I love showing off my stuff. My kids think I own my own personal toy store, my friends think I'm crazy and Eric? Well, Eric is just happy I have a hobby!

::: If you notice that there is something I am missing from my collection, and you know where I can get it - LET ME KNOW!
